- First navigate to Settings; then Account Settings and later choose financial settings.
- After this step select Opening Balances. Now enter the date for opening balances; select Next.
- You can edit or add the balances here and after doing so select NEXT.
- To record outstanding amount; go to Customer invoices, then Record sales invoice.
- Now complete the information asked as save it. Do it for every outstanding entry.
- When you are done with the above process, select SAVE to save all the changes.
- To edit the bank opening balance, repeat first two steps and then, edit the amount for the relevant bank account.
- However, if you wish to delete the balance then again follow first two steps and then; select DELETE X button and later click on Next.
- You will have to give a valid reason and after that simply save the changes and you are done with the process.
